Nice.

A little over the place, but it's great.

I'd like to know what program you're using, the guiar is pretty clear. Is it Guitar Port, or a POD by Line 6?

Nice anyway, I look forward to seeing your stuff around...

P.S: The tone in the beginning sounds like "Got You Where I Want You" by "The Flys"

Parkerman1700 responds:

Actually, this program is Sony Acid Studio 7.

Boss.

Ha, Star Fox. My favorite game of all time.

Well job on the chorus, but it seems to get repetitive. Another angelic lead, or a following chorus of a lower octave could help.

Jacob78 responds:

this was just a quick little loop I made and at the time I made it I was also useing the demo of FL Studio. I will probably go back some time soon and redo this one cause I really like how it sounds.

Nice.

This has a gentle and soft feeling to it. The only thing that ruins it is the main chime lead, because it sort of kills the naturality and flow of the melodies. Sounds like something in Zelda: Twilight Princess, though, and that's a good thing.

As for a name, I'm puzzled. Tranquil Fiction?

Jacob78 responds:

Tranquil Fiction...I like that. Thanks for the review that was really quick =)
Not gonna change the name quite yet but that is a really good name. Its not from Zelda tho I do hope to use it or have some one else use it in a RP game. Perhaps as a dark cave scene...LOL Any way im not sure what you mean about the main chime exactly but I think I may know what your talking about tho so will see about fixing it.
Again tho thanks for the review I hope you come back to see my other songs.

Boss.

That's some pretty solid composition, I enjoyed it.

By the way, what program are you using? Anvil Studio?

Anything that composes MIDIs should not be in a professional composer's belt. I started off making MIDI's, and finally moved on to FL Studio 8, the aforementioned program. FL stands for Fruity Loops, and is not to be confused with Flash 8. FL Studio 8 is a hefty costing program, though, and most of the people on here most likely have gotten it free via BitTorrent (I don't reccomend the illegal way though). If you continue to use MIDI avoid anything above an eigth note because it gets repetitive.

I don't know any good FREE programs to be honest, your best bet to make decent music for free would be a Tracker, but those produce NES music and are EXTREMELY difficult.

paradimensional responds:

At the point I made this I was using a TRIAL version of a cheap $20 random midi maker... I used hamienet to change this from midi to mp3... I'm thinking about reuploading this with some better sounds that I got with a program called Cakewalk Music Creator lately...

And I'm not a professional composer =) I'm a thirteen year old child lol

Great.

I promised I'd check this out once up.

Nice eerie feeling, and great job at keeping it consistent and reminescent. A great listen

BowserThedestructive responds:

thank you :D

Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Uhmmmm, it's kind of bad.

I'm pretty sure this is a joke or friendly post.

zcaar responds:

a joke??? it's meant to be in a game

Great.

The beats and melody were all there, but for some reason you always fall short of that powerful chorus.

Really work on adding power and getting more bass in there.

Uni-bombeR responds:

Thanks.

:D I will.

Splendoraful!

The crash is very dry and gets annoying after a while. A crash with more ring would really increase the easy listening.

This is very well arranged and organized though. Besides the cymbal which for the most part should only be in the beginning in my opinion, the instruments are great and blend beautifully and create the dark atmosphere that was great about that game.

By the way, is this the song for that big jack in the box guy? That boss battle was amazingly fun.

BowserThedestructive responds:

nope i kinda did them in out of order >_> because this boss theme is from the big puffer fish thing that is in water and you gotta electric it n stuff by entering rings but the jack in the box i am working on right now ill try to make the crashes less dry next time :D because it was the boss that came before this boss theme in order that is ...Im kinda orchestrating them out of order ;o but oh well :P

Bootiful.

Now besides the cheesily techno sound, that was one of your best. Consistent, not repetitive, is what makes this really danceable and east to listen to.

This may sound wierd and random but this sounds like a Gorillaz (not a big fan) song. I can just imagine the singer singing along.

Uni-bombeR responds:

Thank you.

Good crit

Agreed.

More variety in the actual song would've helped, but the intro was a treat itself.

procow responds:

alrighty thanks fo reviewin' me.
