D00d!

You think I can use this in a game I'm making where you neglect handicapped people in a retirement home? You're their only resource, and they solely depend on you, but you neglect them for the ego payoff. This music would go great in a elderly neglect game.

cha cha cha

Truly the most beautiful music around, I can't even comprehend how these notes find eachother.

hjcrbass responds:

WOW!!!
Thanks for the awesome review.
Glad you loved it IbeSm.

Yeah

Great stuff. Reminds me of acid trip video soundtracks and such.

zcult responds:

I'm happy you like the sounds. Rest of the song is kind of fucked up and messy. So I picked out the cleanest sounding loop to upload.

Once I figure out how to begin it and how to end it I'll make it into a full song. Shit is exhausting though.

Again.

I love your experimentation and it creates something atmospheric and entertaining. You know how to keep someone listening and let the music stand by itself.

Better than half the shit on 8bitpeoples.

PenguinBomb responds:

hurrah!

Excellent.

Great fucking sound, great melodies and arpeggios. A very good piece and one of the best I've heard in a while.

PenguinBomb responds:

wow thank you! :D

Should've left my comment a while back but...

This is great. A nice little interlude that obviously gives you the anxiety of what's coming.

I think it's a shame that the quality is poor and the pieces don't mesh together and instead have a little delay in between section. I don't know if thats intended but it really kills the natural, spritual feeling. A piece like this would sound great with the mixing done in contemporary jazz recordings that put the spotlight on double basses, versus more doomy post-metal.

Interesting.

If you don't mind some suggestions, lust is about greed and adrenaline. To simulate that desire it has to drive, become faster, progress. To help this, maybe a rapid, yet faint, shaker (more rapid then the one you have) in the background. Then you could filter some breathing as I've seen many artist do before.

The bongos are in the right place, and should keep that steady tempo, but perhaps they could be a little more ghostly and tantalizing, which could use some reverb or such.

I enjoyed the pacing, though, and the melodies are very interesting and mesh greatly. With some work this could be quite a culmination, something I wouldn't mind on a long drive or an art session.

With all this, I think it finally needs a climax (suggestive of the subject) to disorient and push it into the next section. I'll look out for this in the future!

parlormonkey responds:

thanks for the constructive critism after listening to it again i do agree it needs a climax but i think i was getting a bit frustrated with the song hope u like the next pt gluttony

Great stuff.

Sorry about being a little late on the comment, and it really saddens me that nobody else could give you a few words.

This piece is beautiful, explorative, and a nice brief experimentation. I love the melodies and harmonies and would love to see this expanded and maybe experimented into a little more. Reminiscent of maybe some Hail to the Thief or one of Rodriguez-Lopez's outfits.

If I could get the resources to start some IDM sampling projects this would be on my list <_<.

Thanks for the listen, Favorite'd.

Mbulanov responds:

Thank you so much!
I want to expand it further, and introduce some lyrics. =]

Beautiful.

Not my forte of music or criticism, but definately well done. The instruments are all beautifully composed and blended and the song drives seamlessly. Amazing work.

alexfaas responds:

Thanks!

Ay...
