The melody didn't seem to attached to the instrument you used, but it only becomes a problem if your not focusing on the drums. I enjoyed the chopping, although the tricks got a little old after a while. I suggest experimenting with chopping a little more to do more than just pitch changes and rolls. Otherwise, I'm happy.

Refreshing

It's always great to see something different and this soul/jazzy/r&b tune is a nice change. I can't tell if it's a cover but either way you did a great job. My only complaint is that it could be mixed a little better as some of the elements like bass don't show too well (wearing studio headphones).

I love everything about this, especially the composition and percussion. I'm not really good at explaining why I like a song, but I fucking do.

Honestly

This is beautiful. I love all the creative aspects, the experimentation with delay, the ease of progression. Perhaps I have the blessing of listening to this on "professional" studio headphones, but nothing beats the authenticity of a tracker and great composition. Reminds me of a cave story ending song <3.

Yeah this is probably my favorite composition. My friends all thought i was godly when I showed them. haha. If only I have a Piano/Keyboard that plugged into my computer, would make a lot more of this, and better sounding stuff. Thanks for the review! Btw Cave story ftw <3

Hmmm

It kind of sounds like its completely improvised, but if the drummer keeps it together I would really enjoy this. It has mistakes, but I can sense the hints of progressive/experimental influences. At least I think I can, all I can say is practice and keep going. You should check out early fall of troy, cap'n jazz, and perhaps lady radiator for lack of a third example.

The drums are actually artificial, i composed all this is garage band using my guitar and keyboard.

Nice.

Very reminiscent of Toe or a lot of San Antonio bands I've seen. I'd like to see more, perhaps with names instead of blatant descriptions of the "genre".

A nice driving, steady song. I appreciate our use of vocals, although personally I feel you could've tried to experiment with your tone a little bit.

Always great to see something interesting and purposeful.
